03 youths beat up Kashmiri hawkers, taking cognizance of the viral video, action was taken against the accused youths, 16 Kashmiris left Mussoorie

Rajkumar Dhiman, Dehradun: Kashmir is an integral part of India. Our army has been uprooting the nefarious steps taken against it. The question arises that when Kashmir is ours, how did Kashmiris become outsiders? This question is being raised because a few days ago, 3 local youths beat up 2 Kashmiri people who were doing hawking in Mussoorie and forced them to leave the city.
The video of this entire incident is also going viral. This has created an atmosphere of fear among all the other Kashmiri residents living and doing business in Mussoorie. Well, the relief is that Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay Singh took cognizance of the viral video and took legal action against the three youths who misbehaved with the Kashmiri people.

After a lot of investigation, the SSP got the numbers of the two persons who had left Mussoorie and requested them to return by assuring them of safety. However, by then both the Kashmiri persons had returned to their homes. Then SSP Ajay Singh also spoke to the SSP of Kupwara. After this, he also spoke to the local public representatives there and assured them of the safety of the Kashmiri persons. After which the Kupwara police and the local public representatives there requested to send the returned persons to Dehradun.
Apart from this, SSP Ajay Singh said that vigilance is being maintained in all the areas of Mussoorie or the district where Kashmiri people are present. However, amid this entire incident, it has been reported that about 16 Kashmiri people have returned from Mussoorie. On the other hand, in view of the Char Dham Yatra, the police is also running a verification campaign while being vigilant. The police has issued instructions that all the people coming here from other states for business should get verification done from their home area and bring a copy of it with them.
